While we sleep, our skin & body repairs itself, making beauty sleep a crucial factor in looking and feeling our best. Personally, I don’t care what I look like when I go to bed; I care about what I look like when I wake up in the morning!
To enhance your beauty sleep, try some of these time-saving overnight treatments. You will wake up beautiful and refreshed!
Use a humidifier. Moisture is an essential ingredient for beautiful skin. Using a humidifier while you sleep is an easy way to get extra hydration. Also helps with cold and sinus issues!
Moisturize. This one is a given! First, apply your skin treatments of choice to address your specific needs. Finish with an ultra-hydrating cream or facial oil. Find an eye cream that is both firming and anti-wrinkling and apply generously.
Treat your lips. Apply a medicated lip balm, followed by a moisturizing lip balm. The first layer will treat dry lips, while the second will add comfort and seal in moisture.
Sleep on a satin pillowcase. The smooth surface causes less irritation on your skin. Switching to satin can help smooth frizzy hair.
Deep condition. Shampoo your hair before bed and comb a deep conditioner through it. Cover with a shower cap and wash out in the morning.
Try Frownies. Worn while you sleep, these patches adhere to your skin on key areas to prevent wrinkles (such as between the eyebrows, crows feet, etc).
Condition & plump lashes. Dry lashes can become brittle and easily fall out. Apply petroleum jelly or castor oil to help grow lashes thicker and longer. You can also apply to your eyebrows to help grow them in.
