The way you start your morning has a huge impact on the rest of your day. A peaceful morning contributes to a calmer state of mind and less stress throughout the day.
Finding balance and peace in your morning routine will be different for everyone, based on your needs, if you have children, and whether you are a cheerful morning person or take a long time to wake up.
♡ Think about what you want your morning routine to be like. Exercising and having a hot shower is important to me. I also never listen to music when I’m getting ready; I like to have a quiet and clear mind.
♡ Plan ahead. Lay out clothes the night before (or two), prep breakfasts and make lunches ahead of time, have your backpack or gym bag ready to go, etc.
♡ Savor getting ready, allowing ample time for primping, having breakfast, feeding your dog, tending to plants, etc.
♡ Make time to sit, even just for 5 minutes. Enjoy drinking your coffee or tea, say affirmations, pray or meditate. Whatever it is that grounds you, sit down, and enjoy the quiet. Breathe deeply and set your intentions for the day.

I totally agree – I love to get a good run in to get my day started – I just feel more awake throughout the day!! I’m pretty good about prepping all my stuff the night before so I don’t feel as rushed in the morning!
