When life hands you a lemon, do you take it, squeeze it into a glass of lukewarm water and drink daily? No? Well, you should!
I’ve gotten into a habit of beginning each morning with a glass of lemon water. It’s such a simple, healthy start to the day and the benefits of lemon water are too good to ignore.

Digestion: Lemon water is known for helping to loosen toxins in the digestive tract, relieving the symptoms of bloating, heartburn, and can help stimulate bowel movements.
Cleansing: Lemons are also known for their cleansing properties, which helps to reduce unwanted waste and toxins from your liver, kidneys, and blood.
Energy: The vitamins and nutrients in lemons help to increase your energy. The scent of lemon also has mood enhancing and energizing properties. It can brighten your mood and help clear your mind.
Weight Loss: Lemons are high in pectin fiber, which helps fight hunger cravings, making lemon water a great choice when you are trying to lose a few pounds.
To reap all of these benefits, you should be squeezing 1/2 fresh lemon into a glass of lukewarm water and having it first thing in the morning.
