We all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but have you ever wondered why?
Breakfast literally means to “break the fast” we undergo while sleeping. When we wake up, we need to nourish our brain and body with nutrients to start the day right.
Having breakfast in the morning also has many health benefits:
– Fewer headaches
– Better concentration and productivity throughout the day
– A more positive attitude
– Helps to stabilize hunger and cravings later in the day
My breakfast varies each morning. It could be scrambled egg whites or vegetable pancakes, but I always have a fully-loaded green smoothie with it.
