I’ve been getting tons of e-mails asking for drugstore highlighter suggestions, so I decided to make a post about it. Highlighting / strobing has become so popular; everyone wants that gorgeous glow! Highlighter is one of those make-up products that will easily infuse life into your look and complexion.
But first . . .
WHERE TO APPLY HIGHLIGHTER?
Very simple! Apply highlighter down the bridge of your nose, on your cheekbones, onto your brow bone, on top of your cupid’s bow (the indent at the center of your top lip), and at the center of your chin and forehead.
For liquid, cream or powder highlighters, you can apply with a soft, fluffy shadow brush, a fan brush, pat into skin with your clean fingertips or blend using a Beautyblender.

To really boost the highlight, layer a cream/liquid first and then use a powder highlighter over the same areas.

I love the NYC born to glow highlighter! I put it underneath my “foundation” at times for a really dewy look. I’ve never tried the Revlon photoready illuminator but I love finding new drug store products.
