Every summer, if I’m not careful, I will have huge itchy welts from mosquito bites all over my body. Mosquitoes just always seem to flock to me!
This year, in an attempt to get them to heal faster, I tried something new and it worked out well! What’s my secret? Applying tea tree oil (in a rollerball) to the bites. They were gone within 2 days, instead of the usual week-long debacle of scratching, itchiness and then the lovely leftover dark spot. :)
Essential oils are a natural way to solve everyday ailments and using them in a rollerball is definitely the easiest and most practical. When you use essential oils, they need to be diluted with a carrier oil, so it’s great having your blend already mixed and ready to be applied.
Also, with a rollerball, you have the ability to apply it to specific spots for maximum effectiveness. Roll it on your neck, feet, wrists and you’re good to go.
Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:

To create your blend, all you have to do is place the number of drops, per recipe, into your 10 mL rollerball and then fill to the top with the carrier oil of your choice! Shake well.
